Dr. Vanessa Mazzoli
Dr. Vanessa Mazzoli grew up in
Spartanburg and
graduated magna cum laude from
Clemson
University
in 1986 with a degree in Psychology. At Clemson, she was a member of Kappa Alpha
Theta Sorority and still enjoys connecting with other Thetas. Dr. Mazzoli remains
a huge Tiger fan!
She went on to graduate from the Medical University of South Carolina and was a
member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Mazzoli interviewed programs coast to coast but couldn’t leave the Upstate
– in her opinion “it’s the best place to live and raise a family.” After completing an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Greenville Hospital
System, she started private practice in 1990.
God has blessed her with a beautiful, healthy, vivacious daughter, Alyssa, after
a scary pregnancy blighted by preterm labor and weeks of bed rest. Dr. Mazzoli
loves being a mom, traveling, reading, helping with Alyssa’s school, Girl Scout
activities and being an active member of
Mauldin
United
Methodist
Church
. She also is a member of the American Medical Association and the honor society
Phi Kappa Phi.
