Dr. Rebecca Keith

Dr. Rebecca Keith grew up in Southern Indiana. After completing her undergraduate work at Indiana University, she attended Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1995 at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, where she learned advanced laparoscopic skills. 
 
Since completion of her residency, Dr. Keith practiced initially in Indiana but was drawn to the beautiful South Carolina coast. She and her family moved to Hilton Head Island in 1999 and practiced in the surrounding area for almost seven years. In 2006, Dr. Keith joined the staff at Greenville East Center for Women, which then became Carolina Women's Health. 
 
Dr. Keith’s primary focus is general Obstetrics and Gynecology, however she has a special interest in providing gentle and compassionate treatment for young women because she knows how important a first exam can be. She also enjoys managing high risk pregnancies in conjunction with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists at St. Francis eastside and Greenville Memorial Hospital. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the South Carolina Medical Association.
 
Dr. Keith met her husband, Tim, while attending Indiana University and they were married in 1986. They have two children; a 13-year-old daughter, Rachel, and a nine-year-old son, Ryan. Dr. Keith enjoys horseback riding, hiking and outdoor sports with her children.
