"Thank you Dr. Lattimore and Stephanie for making my first visit a great one. I've seen many doctors in Greenville and just hadn't found the right one until now. From the moment Stephanie called me back, her smile and cheerfulness, made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Dr Lattimore answered all my questions and made me feel like I had been a patient of his forever. Thank you so much both of you for a wonderful experience."

"Dr. Lattimore delivered my son in 1989 and I have been his patient since then. He knows his patients personally and truly cares for their wellbeing. Needless to say, he is the only gynecologist I will see. Hands down, he is truly 'The Best!'”

"Trish is exceptional! She is always friendly, knows me by name, and always speaks to me. Debbie is also exceptional. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. She works diligently to ensure that Dr. Lattimore's patients receive the best patient care."

"My mother started coming to Dr. Lattimore in 1989, and I started coming in 1997. I drive more than 45 minutes to see him, and I wouldn't change doctors for the world."

"Dr. Lattimore’s nurse, Stephanie, was great. She went out of her way to answer all my questions and did it with a smile. It was great to have someone listen to my problems and make me feel so comfortable. Thanks!"

Dr. Edward Lattimore

Dr. Edward Lattimore is a graduate of Furman University and the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed an OB/GYN residency at Greenville Hospital System and has more than 25 years of experience practicing obstetrics and gynecology in the Upstate.

Dr. Lattimore founded Oaktree Ob-Gyn as a solo practitioner more than 22 years ago in Mauldin. While he had offers to practice in other locations across the country, he had his heart set on staying in the Upstate. He wanted to start a new practice that catered to the specific needs of each patient in an area that he felt was underserved in the medical community at the time.

In his early days at Oaktree, Dr. Lattimore hired a highly-qualified staff, offered childbirth classes and patient education and was even known to make house calls. He had a strong interest in fertility issues and allowed his employees to gain expertise through continuing their education about childbirth preparation and surgical assistance, and obtaining certification in infertility issues.

In 1989, he built a larger office on Woodruff Road and changed the name of the practice to Greenville East Center for Women. At that time, he added partners that shared his vision of personalized care. In 2007, Greenville East partnered with the former Carolina Center for Women’s Health to create the new Carolina Women’s Health.

Twenty-seven years and 6,000 delivered babies later, Dr. Lattimore has witnessed many changes in healthcare but stays true to his original mission to provide patient-focused care.

Dr. Lattimore is a member of First Baptist Church, where he has served as a deacon and participated in foreign missions. He is married to Gigi, and they have six daughters and one grandson. “Captain Doctor Ed” enjoys spending his free time with his wife restoring and traveling on their boat the “Glenna Gene,” and refurbishing classic cars.

Dr. Lattimore is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons among many other professional societies.
